What the system covered
Availability and workload
The system provided a shared view of people and resource availability amid scheduling conflicts, double bookings, and coordination between projects and work orders. Teams could assign resources to projects and orders, view free time slots, and balance workload.
Reservations, schedules, and on-call duties
Reservations included conflict checks and resource-use history, with notifications about overlaps. The system handled schedules and shifts, on-call duties, substitutions, and publishing plans for teams.
Integrations and reports
Q-Resource synchronized with projects, production plans, and company calendars, and updated statuses in real time. Basic reports showed availability, utilization, and conflicts.
Workflow and implementation
The workflow covered defining resources, availability, and constraints, then workload planning and reservations, ongoing review, and reporting. Implementation began with importing resources and calendars, followed by integration with project plans. The system connected with Q-Management, ERP, and HR/time systems.
